July 29, 2001 - James I. Bass passed away in St. Augustine, Fl. funeral service was held in Florala, Al. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Survivors includes Agnes Fayette Bass (wife) 2 sons; Marlin E. Bass, David J. Bass, 3 daughters; Carloyn M. (Bass) Faircloth, Shirley F. (Bass) Grooms, Stacey A. (Bass) Lambert; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
August 05, 2001 - Effie "Gautney" Bass passed away in Florala, Al. funeral service was held in Florala, Al. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Survivors includes 1 son Eward G. Bass, 4 grandchildren.
December 22, 2001 - Grady F. Bass passed away in Florala, Al. funeral service was held in Florala, Al. Survivors includes Marion LaRoy Bass (wife) 1 son Richard E. Bass , 2 daughters; Mary LaRonda (Bass) Ritael, Jennifer M.(Bass) Drakkar, 4 grandchildren.
February 14, 2002 - Grady F. Bass house caught fire, His family lost everything, but thank goodness no one was hurt. If you want to help them, you can contact them here @ familiesties.com and we will forward your email to them.
April 06, 2002 - Good news. Todd and Sharon Strickland have given birth to a new son. Ryder Liam Strickland 7lb 11 oz 20½ inches long Borned: 4-6-02, 3:09 p.m. All are doing well.
June 02, 2002 - Phillip & Rayna Silcox has a new son. Born in Jesup, Ga. Jeremy Kyle Silcox 8lb 2oz. 20¾ inches long. Mother and son are doing fine.
November 2002 - Ronald Joiner passed away. He is Rita and Hazel's brother.
